Checking in on the internet is both convenient and quick. This option is available from 23 hours and up to 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure. Click on “web check-in” in the lower left corner on the main page and enter your first name, last name as well as your booking or e-ticket number.

Hi fliers! After a tiny break, our weekly preview of new routes and services is back. Today’s highlights feature as usually some various traditional carriers as well as low-cost airlines. Without further ado, we start off with Hawaiian Airlines.

It was with pomp and circumstance that Hawaiian Airlines opened its next transatlantic route from Honolulu to Osaka. It is not the first service to Japan from this Hawaiian carrier – the first one was launched to Airport Tokyo last year.

SWISS to expand its winter Zurich and Geneva services

November 8th, 2010

Swiss International Air Lines – the flag carrier of Switzerland and a Star Alliance member – will be adding further capacity to selected routes in its 2010/11 winter schedules.

From Airport Zurich SWISS will be offering additional frequencies to both European and intercontinental destinations. In Europe these will include more daily flights to Stockholm, Valencia and Belgrade.

SWISS’s services between Geneva and Spain will see the addition of two new daily flights to Madrid from December 17. A third daily service will also be added on the existing
Geneva-Barcelona route. A further 16 points will be served under codeshare arrangements with partner carriers.

On the SWISS intercontinental network, it is among others Delhi and Mumbai that gain further weekly flights.
