monarch-airlines

In this article of our series dedicated to the baggage policy of various low-cost carriers as well as traditional carriers we will look into how much you can bring on board and put in your bags when flying with the British Luton-based airline bearing the proud name Monarch Airlines. Lets us find ut whether the baggage allowances and restrictions of Monarch Airlines are just as royal as the airlines name.

Carry-on baggage

Handbaggage is included in the ticket price as long as it conforms to the following restrictions: 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (including handles and wheels) and 10 kg. Should you exceed these restrictions and should it be found at the gate – beware! As of April 1 your belongings will wind up in the baggage hold and this will incure a penalty charge of  £50/€62. Consider yourself warned and do not beg for mercy!
