Low cost airline Frontier Airlines launched new nonstop flights from New Orleans to Denver. Flights will be operated once daily with Airbus A318 aircraft.
On April 13, 2010, Republic Airways announced that its two branded carriers, Frontier and Midwest, would combine under the Frontier Airlines name. The integration of these two airlines is expected to take 12 – 18 months.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines launched new nonstop flights from Santa Barbara to Denver. Flights will be operated twice daily.
Frontier’s Santa Barbara service is flown by the 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft, which will be the largest and most comfortable aircraft of any airline serving Santa Barbara.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines launched new nonstop service from Denver to Fairbanks; Grand Rapids (GRR) and Long Beach (LGB). The carrier also launched new nonstop service between its Milwaukee hub and Seattle/Tacoma (SEA). The service is part of a 17-market expansion taking place this spring and summer, making Frontier the fastest-growing major carrier in the United States.
In the coming weeks, Frontier Airlines will launch service from Denver to New Orleans and Santa Barbara, Calif. The carrier will also launch service from Kansas City, Mo. to New Orleans.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines announced that passengers can now travel with their small pets in the cabin of the aircraft for a $75 each way pet fare. The new in-cabin pet policy applies to small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or small household birds. All pets must fit into a carrier that fits under the airplane seat and they must have proper health documentation in order to fly.
In addition to allowing small pets in the cabin, Frontier also accommodates larger pets as checked baggage. Pets weighing more than 20 pounds, who do not fit the pets-in-cabin requirements, may be checked for a $150 fee.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines launched new nonstop service between the airline’s Denver hub and both Newport News and Madison. The carrier also launched nonstop service from Kansas City to Columbus. The service is part of a significant period of growth for Frontier, which is growing by 7% in seat miles this year, making it the fastest-growing major airline in the United States.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines unveiled its newest aircraft – an Embraer 190 – with a badger on its tail. The badger is the first of Frontier’s animals to grace the tail of an Embraer aircraft. The 99-seat aircraft, which features a two-by-two, all-leather seating configuration, will go into service May 1.
In conjunction with the unveiling, the airline also announced the opportunity for Wisconsin residents to name the badger, who will join the talented cast of animals already adorning Frontier planes and appearing in Frontier advertising.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines announced the launch of service to five new destinations from the airline’s two main hubs in Denver and Milwaukee. Service from Denver to Louisville and Green Bay began yesterday (April 19), and service to Branson begins today. Additionally, seasonal service from Milwaukee to San Francisco and San Diego will began yesterday.
Additional frequencies are also being added in key markets and effective yesterday, Frontier will operate a third-daily nonstop flight between Denver and New York (LGA), providing the earliest arrival in New York on any airline.

Frontier Airlines announced that it world extend its seasonal service to Anchorage, Alaska, by three weeks and will also reintroduce the popular Saturday daytime flight. The seasonal nonstop service from Denver to Anchorage that begins Friday May 14, 2010, will now operate until October 10, 2010.
Frontier began service to Anchorage in May 2004 and just recently announced service to Fairbanks, its second Alaska destination. Service to Fairbanks will launch on May 14, 2010, and will operate four days a week until September 11, 2010.

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines announced the launch of seasonal nonstop service between Oklahoma and two Florida destinations. Service between OKC and Orlando International Airport (MCO) began January 15, 2010, with four weekly nonstop flights. Service between OKC and Tampa International Airport (TPA) began Sunday, January 17, 2010, with two weekly nonstop flights.
To celebrate this new service, Frontier is offering a low $79 oneway fare between OKC and both Florida destinations. Airline tickets must be purchased by February 12, 2010 for travel through April 18, 2010. Timetable at frontierairlines.com.
