Low cost airline Firefly, the country’s first community airline, today proudly unveiled its new ticketing office at the LCCT in Sepang. Its business hours are from 7.00am to 8.00pm. With the opening of this ticketing office, it will give convenience for everyone to purchase not just Firefly tickets but also Malaysia Airlines and MASwings tickets.

“Due to over-whelming request from the public, we are pleased to announce this additional avenue for our valued customers to purchase Firefly’s tickets. We are confident that with this new ticketing office we will be able to serve the public better, and at the same time help stimulate our sales,” said Angelina Fernandez, Head of Marketing & Communications for Firefly.

Community Airline Firefly now flies to Padang, West Sumatera of Indonesia, marking its second new route from Subang to Padang this month, and its fifth destination in Sumatera since the beginning of operations.

The inaugural flight departed Skypark Subang Terminal at 10.30 am on FY 3435 at full load and was greeted by Padang’s Secretary of State Bapak Marlis Rahman upon arrival at the Minangkabau International Airport. Invited guest of honor on board the first flight from Subang was Deputy Tourism Selangor EXCO Y.B. Edward Lee, and the Malaysian media together with Firefly’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Angelina Fernandez
