Privilege, the frequent flyer programme operated by Brussels Airlines, will be transferred to Miles & More from the end of October 2009. Brussels Airlines passengers will then be able to collect miles with more airlines and partner companies and redeem them for attractive awards. For the most part, Privilege members’ mileage accounts will be converted at a one-for-one ratio, and customers’ respective status will also be recognised.
This move marks the latest step in the ongoing expansion of the frequent flyer partnership launched by both airlines at the start of the summer timetable. Since the beginning of April, passengers on Lufthansa and Brussels Airline flights have been able to earn and redeem miles with the respective partner airline. Furthermore, status customers of both airlines benefit from additional privileges such as more generous free baggage allowances, preferential baggage claim and lounge access as well as the use of dedicated check-in counters.
