Allegiant announced new service Wichita – Phoenix Mesa

Low cost airline Allegiant Air announced that it would offer nonstop service to Phoenix-Mesa from Wichita beginning November 20. The carrier celebrates the convenient new service to Arizona with introductory fares.

Allegiant’s $59.99 one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by October 21, 2009 and is valid for travel through February 10, 2010. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $79.99 one-way. Reservations can be made on the airline’s website at allegiantair.com through the airline’s Reservations and Information Center at 702-505-8888 or through professional travel agents.

Allegiant Air announced flights from Bangor to Tampa Bay

September 21st, 2009

Low-cost airline Allegiant Air announced new, nonstop jet service to Florida’s Tampa Bay area from Bangor beginning November 20, 2009. The low-fare carrier celebrates the convenient new service to the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport with sunny introductory fares as low as $89.99 each way.

The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from Bangor International Airport to St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport with two flights weekly. With service Monday and Friday, flights will depart Bangor at 6 p.m. arriving in Tampa Bay at 9:40 p.m. Flights leaving Tampa Bay will depart at 1:55 p.m. arriving in Bangor at 5:20 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant Air began low-cost, nonstop service to to Orlando, Fla. November 7, 2007.

Allegiant Air announces new services

West Michigan residents will soon have yet another way to get to the sun as Allegiant Air announced new nonstop jet service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Grand Rapids, Mich. beginning November 13, 2009. The low-fare carrier celebrates the convenient new service to sunny South Florida with introductory fares as low as $79.99 each way.

Beginning November 13, the new scheduled service from Grand Rapids to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will operate two times weekly with flights on Tuesday and Friday. Flights depart Gerald R. Ford International Airport at 6:45 p.m. arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 9:50 p.m. Flights depart Fort Lauderdale at 3:10 p.m. arriving in Grand Rapids at 6:05 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant began nonstop flights to Orlando February 3, 2009, service to the Tampa Bay area February 4, 2009 and flights to Las Vegas May 1, 2009.

Allegiant Air announces new Orlando services

Low-cost airline Allegiant Air, LLC announces new, nonstop jet service to the fun and sun of Orlando, Fla. from Northwest Arkansas beginning November 19, 2009. The low-fare carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to the Sunshine State, with introductory fares as low as $69.99 each way.

The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport with two flights weekly on Thursday and Sunday. Service will begin November 19 with flights departing Northwest Arkansas at 6:15 p.m. arriving in Orlando at 9:35 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando will depart at 4 p.m. arriving in Northwest Arkansas at 5:35 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant began nonstop flights to Los Angeles May 22, 2009 and service to Las Vegas June 4, 2009.

Allegiant Air: new service between Pasco and Phoenix-Mesa

The Tri-Cities land another hole-in-one with Allegiant Air as the low-cost airline announces it will offer nonstop service to Phoenix-Mesa from Pasco, Wash. beginning November 19. The carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to Arizona with introductory fares as low as $59 each way.

The self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine” will launch the new scheduled service from Tri-Cities Airport to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport with two flights weekly on Thursday and Sunday. Service will begin Nov. 19 with flights departing the Tri-Cities at 4:35 p.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 8:05 p.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 2:20 p.m. arriving in the Tri-Cities at 3:55 p.m. (all flight times are local.) Allegiant inaugurated low-cost, nonstop service to Las Vegas April 7, 2005.

Allegiant announces withdrawal from Cuba charter programs

August 25th, 2009

Allegiant Travel Company announced today that its Allegiant Air subsidiary has chosen to exit the Cuban family charter programs that it currently flies for five separate charter program sponsors and has therefore recently exercised the 120-day notice periods to cancel the relevant contracts.

Allegiant Air has a single aircraft dedicated to its Cuba programs and currently expects to return that aircraft into its scheduled service fleet later this year. Allegiant Air’s charter planning team is working closely with the five Cuba program sponsors affected to ensure a smooth transition for all parties.

Allegiant Air announced new flights Phoenix Mesa – Grand Rapids

West Michigan lands another hole-in-one with Allegiant Air as the low-cost airline announces it will offer nonstop service to Phoenix-Mesa from Grand Rapids, Mich. beginning Oct. 14. The carrier will celebrate the convenient new service to Arizona with introductory fares as low as $89 each way.

“We are extremely pleased to again expand the Allegiant brand of low–fare, nonstop jet service to the West Michigan community,” Maurice J. Gallagher, Jr., president, CEO of Allegiant Air said. “This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop service between Grand Rapids and Arizona.”

Allegiant Air ends service from Monterey to Los Angeles

July 3rd, 2009

Allegiant Air, LLC today announces it will end its scheduled service between Monterey, Calif. and Los Angeles. The carrier’s last day of service to Los Angeles will be September 6, 2009. Customers with reservations September 10 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for re-accommodation.

Allegiant Air announced new base in Los Angeles

February 19th, 2009

American low cost airline Allegiant Air announced it will establish a new base in the world-class, leisure destination Los Angeles, with low-fare, nonstop jet service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning May 1.

Flying to/from America’s favorite small cities, Allegiant plans to launch the new service with flights to LAX from 12 markets already served by the carrier. Introductory fares begin as low as $39 each way. To announce the new route, on online contest took place at the company’s website. Nearly 50,000 entries were made to guess the airline’s newest destination.

Allegiant Air will base two 150-seat, MD-80 series jet aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport. This new base will serve as the sixth world-class, leisure destination for the Las Vegas-based airline, which also serves McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas), Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
