WizzAir changes its baggage policy
April 1st, 2010
Low cost airline WizzAir changes its baggage policy rules. After April 1, WizzAir eliminates the excess weight fees and makes booking easier. The airline will apply a single fee for a piece of checked-in baggage regardless of the weight (up to 32 kg per baggage). The fee will be €15 per bag if purchased at the time of booking and €30 if paid at the airport.
Carry on baggage policy doesn’t change. However, WizzAir announced that it would be strictly applying a €60 fee for oversized/overweight hand luggage at the gate and these bags will have to be checked in. For more details continue to wizzair.com.
