AirTran Airways to add new flights

Low cost airline AirTran Airways announced new nonstop flights from Des Moines International Airport and Huntsville International Airport. New services connecting Des Moines and Orlando will be available from March 6, 2010 twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays.

Another new routes will be operated from May 27, 2010. Flights from Huntsville to Baltimore Washington and Orlando will operated daily with Boeing 717.You can find more details and timetable at airtran.com.

“Huntsville is known as the ‘Rocket City’ and AirTran Airways is pleased to take the residents of northern Alabama to new heights of air travel,” said Kevin Healy, AirTran Airways’ senior vice president of marketing and planning. “Connecting Huntsville to two of our largest operations gives residents access not only to our award-winning service and low-fares but to virtually our entire network.”
