Ryanair adds 6 new routes to Greece

Low cost airline Ryanair announced that it would now operate flights to Greece. New routes will be operated from Milan Bergamo, Frankfurt Hahn and Pisa to great Greek holiday destinations: Kos, Rhodes, Volos. Milan will be connected with Kos, Rhodes and Volos, Frankfurt with Kos and Volos and Pisa with Rhodes. All new flights will be launched from May 2010.

Ryanair celebrated its six new Greek routes by discounting a million cheapf flights for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in late March and April (excluding Easter week), which are available for booking only until midnight Friday February 26. Ryanair’s Greek routes go on sale on ryanair.com.


Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said that “Ryanair is delighted to boost Greek tourism and the Greek economy with the introduction of six new routes from Kos, Rhodes and Volos to Milan (Bergamo), Frankfurt (Hahn) and Pisa, which will provide Greek consumers/visitors with low fares on six exciting Greek routes this summer. Ryanair’s Greek routes will deliver 200,000 passengers p.a. and create 200 local jobs.”
