WizzAir expands its operations in Romania
Low cost airline WizzAir announced that it would expand its fleet in Romania and introduce new flights.
As of June 12, 2010 the Company will base a third aircraft in Cluj-Napoca that will enable WizzAir to launch new flights to Pisa and Cuneo Torino and increase frequencies on some of the existing routes. The new aircraft will become the seventh WizzAir Airbus A320 in the country. The airline will also add Pisa to its list of destinations from Bucharest and start new services from Timisoara to Forli Bologna.

The new developments will further consolidate WizzAir’s leadership position in Romania. The company has carried 1.4 million passengers to and from Romania in the course of 2009 up to date, 85% more than the same period last year.
