Ryanair adds extra flights to Paris
Low cost airline Ryanair announced yesterday that in addition to our regular daily flights to Paris (Beauvais) from Dublin and Shannon we will operate extra flights for the World Cup playoff match in Paris on Wednesday November 18, 2009. Ryanair has added extra flights to/from Paris on Tuesday November 17, Wednesday November 18 and Thursday November 19 to cater to Irish fans.
Ryanair confirmed that all seats on its extra flights to / from Paris will be at least €20 cheaper than Aer Lingus. Fans can book these seats at ryanair.com from €125 one way (including taxes and charges), which is €44 cheaper than Aer Lingus’ current lowest one way fare of €169.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
“Football fans can always rely on Ryanair for the lowest airfare to English football matches and also to World Cup Qualifiers in Paris. While Aer Lingus rips people off with high fares, only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares. These World Cup seats will be snapped up fast so fans should book them today on ryanair.com.”

20€ great! but Ryanair basis cost of a Ryanair flight from Dublin to Beauvais, which has a price tag of €4.99 on Friday November 20th, costs €124.99 on the Wednesday morning of the crunch match.
Ryanair usually increases the air ticket prices for important sport events, holidays etc. But most low cost airlines do the same and the prices are usually still a bit cheaper that the ones offered by traditional airlines.
