WizzAir rescues JAT Airways passengers

Low cost airline WizzAir announced that it would provide re-routing alternatives to passengers affected by the grounded flights of Serbia’s JAT Airways at Belgrade airport.
A special rescue package of EUR 40 for an all inclusive one way fare is offered to passengers who hold a valid JAT ticket for travel between October 1, 2009 and March 27, 2010. To benefit from the special offer passengers should go to wizzair.com or call the Wizz Air call centers. Seats are subject to availability and the rebooking should be made between October 1 and 8. The special fares are only available from the airline’s English/Hungarian/Romanian/Croatian language sites.

Wizzair is doing a great job now, they offered us similar help when our Sky Europe flight was cancelled forever:(. I wonder where the financial benefit is. It must be reputation building or something similar, however it’s good for the passangers for sure.
I guess the financial benefits are in the good PR they are making out of it. Still, it’s great they are helping the passengers.
Wizzair is going to be around for a long time. They have a very good marketing strategy.
