September 24th, 2009

Low cost airline WizzAir announced that it would further expand its operations in Bulgaria by adding a third brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in Sofia in May 2010.

This move will enable WizzAir to launch new services to Madrid, Paris Beauvais, Frankfurt Hahn and Forli Bologna from May 22, 2010, three times a week initially. The new aircraft will also be deployed to increase frequencies of existing routes to Eindhoven and Valencia to 3 and 4 a week, respectively. Wizz Air expects to carry 37% more passengers in 2010 versus 2009.
