Cebu Pacific launched new payment center option

September 24th, 2009

Asia’s third largest low-cost carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB), recently launched its payment center option for the convenience of the traveling public. This newest innovation from the Gokongwei-owned airline offers the most number of options for passengers to pay for their bookings.

Now, every Juan can book their desired flights online or through the reservations hotline, and pay via CEB’s partner banks. Payments can be made through the ATMs of 24 Bancnet and 13 Megalink member banks. The complete list of member banks can be found at cebupacificair.com.

Passengers can also pay for bookings over the counter at Robinsons Savings Bank, Banco de Oro and Metrobank (for those who wish to pay in cash), or through Bancnet online.

“We are doing this in order to widen our reach and make online booking an option for those who have no credit cards. This option is also available when CEB has seat sales,” said CEB VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

Passengers can book their preferred flight schedules on cebupacificair.com or through (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888. Upon reaching the payment page or when asked, choose the preferred partner bank.

The website or reservations agent will provide a 14-digit reference number and the total amount to be paid, which has to be paid on the same day of the booking via the payment centers. The confirmed itinerary or ticket will then be sent to the passenger’s email address the next day.

CEB’s other products and services that can be paid for through the payment centers are prepaid excess baggage, preferred seat selection, Sports Equipment luggage option, Go Lite fares, Fun Tours and TravelSure Insurance.

The leading domestic airline in the Philippines, CEB flies to 32 domestic and 14 international destinations from Manila, Clark, Cebu and Davao.

Cebu offers payments through partner bank – I would recommend you first to findo out whether your bank belongs among the partner bank. The easiest way how to find it out is to call at the numbers above.

    Hi there,

In our series of articles concering the baggage policy of various airlines, we usually prepare a summary of what we find of the official pages of the carriers in question. When it comes to more detailed questions, we suggest you contact the customer service of the airline you travel with, as we are not in the position to give you a binding answer to such question.

    With kind regards

hi, i just made my payment yesterday via BDO and ’til now I haven’t receive any confirmation or the itinerary via my email. One more thing my friend has JR on his name but there’s no specific box for me to indicate the JR, so the booking goes without a jr in it. Is it acceptable and just look on the date of birth.

thanks in advance, hope to hear from you very soon.

    Hi Ruby,

Not sure as to how we – the guys behind the blog – could help you out with your payment troubles. Why don’t you give whoever was meant to receive the payment a bell and check with them?

    regards
