Frontier increases flights to leisure destinations

September 15th, 2009

Low cost airline Frontier Airlines announced it will begin new nonstop service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) from Denver and increase the number of flights to Tampa International Airport (TPA) from Denver. Frontier will also begin offering new nonstop service to Cancún International Airport (CUN) from both Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL), and will add a third weekly flight from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to Cancun.

The new flights to Florida will begin in mid-November, and those to Mexico in mid-December. But all the new flights are available for purchase now at FrontierAirlines.com.

“We are happy to be able to offer our great service to more great leisure destinations,” said Frontier Vice President of Strategy and Planning Daniel M. Shurz. “We believe the combination of our affordable fares and the choice and added value customers get with our AirFairs product will increase competition in these destinations and benefit air travelers in general. And we’re excited to offer nonstop service to more Florida destinations from Denver than any other airline.”
